What started it all:
I am not certain what one thing got me into photography, but I have always been drawn to it. When I was younger, I would always list my dream job as a person who travels the world and takes pictures of it. In the last 10 years what drove me was that I took a photography course in college and from that moment on my passion grew.
Dan Francis (Fargo, North Dakota) is a Certified Master Professional Photographer, he also was a college photography instructor for eight years. Dan was born and raised in Fargo, ND. Dan's work has been seen around the world through his website and published work. After six years working at a photography studio, he left and has now owned his own business since 2009.
He is located in downtown Fargo since 2008 and he offers Commercial photography, fine art family portraits and wedding day coverage. He specializes in Fine-Art Photography.
Dan is a Certified Master Professional Photographer. A 2010 PPA Silver Level Photographer of the Year, and a 2010, 2013 and 2015 PPND Photographer of the year.
In December of 2012 he was awarded the Highest Portrait Print honor of PPA as a Grand Image Award Nominee.
Dan is also a 6 time Kodak Gallery Award Winner for his wedding and Fine Art images.
Dan served his 2nd term as President of the Fargo-Moorhead Camera Club which has existed since 1938.
In 2010 he received finalist for the Bush Foundation in the Artist section of the fellowship.
